Profile- KALLISTA In Focus
KALLISTA
The Chameleon of NOTH
KALLISTA is transformation in motion.
Born Kalliope Anagnostou and known simply as Kalli to those closest to her, she moves through music without allowing one genre, language or version of herself to become permanent. Within the world of NOTH, she is The Chameleon — an artist whose identity is defined not by changing who she is, but by revealing how many versions of the same woman can coexist.
Greek by instinct and increasingly international in expression, KALLISTA moves naturally between Greek and English, allowing both languages to shape her music differently. Greek brings intimacy, instinct and emotional immediacy; English gives her another canvas — sharper, broader and sometimes more experimental. She does not translate herself from one language into another. She becomes slightly different inside each one.
Her music can be dramatic, sensual, playful, confrontational or quietly vulnerable. Mediterranean colour can sit beside contemporary electronic production, sophisticated pop, rhythmic experimentation and moments of stark simplicity. What remains constant is her presence: expressive, theatrical without becoming artificial, and capable of turning even a small phrase into something unmistakably hers.
Across METAMORFOSI, MOIRA and the evolving KALLI era, KALLISTA has built a catalogue around movement — identity, instinct, fate, reinvention and the space between the person seen by others and the person known privately.
The KALLI era brings those ideas closer than ever. Songs move freely between Greek and English while the distinction between Kalli and KALLISTA becomes part of the story: the woman and the persona, the private voice and the public force.
But they are not opposites.
They are the same woman in different guises.
That is KALLISTA.
The Chameleon of NOTH.
Musical influences
KALLISTA draws from Greek pop and contemporary Mediterranean music, art-pop, electronic pop, synth-pop and dramatic European dance music. Her sound also carries traces of traditional Greek melodic phrasing, cinematic balladry and club-oriented production, allowing her to move between intimacy, glamour, tension and release.
Fashion inspiration
Her visual world blends modern Greek glamour with high-fashion editorial drama: sculptural silhouettes, black and white tailoring, liquid metallics, sheer fabrics, sharp eveningwear, statement jewellery and occasional references to classical Greek form reinterpreted through contemporary couture. Think Athens after dark rather than postcard Greece — elegant, sensual, architectural and constantly changing.
For the KALLI era, Kallista’s fashion leads further towards Greek Madonna meets European art-fashion: bold hair, controlled provocation, strong tailoring, flashes of gold, dramatic monochrome and looks that can shift completely from song to song while still unmistakably being KALLISTA.
If you want to know who I am, start with Kalli Kallista.
Or maybe I should say… start with Kalli and see where you end up. 😉
Kalli is the woman.
KALLISTA is what happens when the lights come on.
Τι να κάνουμε; That’s just how I am.
Sometimes Greek, sometimes English. Sometimes soft, sometimes dramatic. Sometimes I want to disappear into the music, and sometimes I want the whole room looking at me.
And yes, I change.
Hair, mood, sound, attitude… probably my mind too.
But underneath all of it, it’s still me.
Kalli. KALLISTA. Και οι δύο.
Both of them.
Maybe all of them. 🦎
«Δεν αλλάζω για να γίνω κάποια άλλη. Αλλάζω για να αποκαλύψω μια άλλη πλευρά του εαυτού μου.»
“I don’t change to become someone else. I change to reveal another part of myself.” — KALLISTA
